Easter Decorations

Another Krazy day with Katie!

I wanted to share with you some of our Easter stuff. First my favorite Easter decorations. I love Scentsy and my new Easter Scensty warmer. I had to match my decorations to my new warmer (which my husband can't understand).

This warmer is called "Dotty" isn't it cute! I found a cute Easter sign that has the same yellow and brown.

I must say I love tulips. I found these beautiful tulips at Trader Joe's and could not resist. BEAUTIFUL!!

Another thing we love in our house is to decorate Easter Eggs.





My husband takes this to a new level. He spend 1 1/2 hours decorating six eggs. I must say they were really good......but 90 minutes!!! WOW!!!!! My kids love it too.

Walmart

Another Krazy Tues. with Katie

I just want to say I love Walmart. We go there many times a week. I can walk around and look at everything from plants, decorations, toys, clothes and food. My 4 year old and I shop for hours sometimes. She brings her own cart and pushes it around and all the senior citizens think she is sooo cute (which she is). The only problem with her own cart is that she thinks she can put whatever she wants into her cart and I have to buy it. We always have to make a compromise.

Even my puppy Prime likes Walmart. He sits in his bag in the cart and is so happy. He watches everyone and never makes a peep. I think it is so adorable.

So if you are lonely or bored just go to Walmart. :)

One More Thing

Doesn't it always feel like there is one more thing to do. Clean the house, exercise, do laundry, do ironing (yuck), bath the kids, bath the dog, grocery shopping, cooking, church responsibilities, kids homework, cake for kids birthday, pick up kids from school, put kids to bed........... Does it ever end. You think that being a stay at home Mom with three kids that there would be time for a nap. Hahaha I WISH. Life is so busy and we need to remember what is important. Church and my family will always be at the top of my list. It takes a lot of work to keep a house hold running smoothly. Stay at home Mom is I think the toughest job out there. Good job to all of you hard working Moms. Keep up the good work.

I LOVE BYU! I attended Brigham Young University from 1995-1999. I loved it and I am still a huge supporter. We love to watch BYU sports. Just for some laughs I added some pictures from 1996 at BYU.

It has been so fun watching BYU and Jimmer make it to the sweet 16. My daughters and I make up cheers and laugh. My husband and son get so excited with every score. It is such a social event. I love any excuse to have a party and hangout with family and friends.

We love to attend the games when they come to play near us. We even waited and met Jimmer and the players after. So exciting.

I have always loved sports and want to wish BYU good luck on Thursday. GO COUGARS!!!!!!!

Oh ya and there is usually cake. :)

Krazy tuesday with Katie

Oh how I love the sun on my face. That is one of the reasons I love New Mexico. Almost everyday of the year is sunny! The beauty is found in the sky here. I love it. I miss my family in Utah, but I love the weather in New Mexico. Have a sunny day!

Heaven

Krazy day with Katie!

My thoughts have been a lot on Heaven this last week. My wonderful husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Maui this past week. As I sat on the beach and felt the wonderful sun on my face I thought this is SOOOOOO wonderful. I hope heaven is like Hawaii. While on the beach I found out that one of my good friends premature baby had past away. My heart broke for them. As I sat in there with my eternal companion I was so thankful for eternal families. I could be so happy sitting on the beach with my whole family. My thoughts and prayers are with Bill and Erin in their time of loss.

On to a happier subject......Hawaii was wonderful!! We stayed in Maui for 7 days with no kids (thanks Mom!). We went to the spa and got massages, ate wonderful food, enjoyed lava flow drinks by the pool, read and relaxed and did a lot of people watching :).

We went to a wonderful Luau that had amazing entertainment and food.

Dan took surfing lessons and did an great job. We snorkled and saw lots of fish (thankfully no sharks this time).

We went on a whale watching boat. This was my favorite. We saw so many whales. There were Moms with babies and Males fighting for the females attention. That was so amazing.

We saw amazing sunsets and lots of beautiful weather. I had the most wonderful time with Dan. He is the greatest husband and I love him so much. I think we will have to do this every year.

I love reading!

Another Krazy Day with Katie. Oh how I love to read. Many of my sisters share my love of reading. I could curl up in my bed or on the couch and read all day (sometimes I do :). I don't think my husband understands. He likes to read, but he likes religious, political and historical books. Not me I want FICTION!! I love to be taken to another place and enjoy. For Christmas Dan bought me a kindle. I was soooo happy! I love to have all the books at my finger tips. I love not having to hold the book open. About a week ago my daughter accidentaly stepped on it and broke the screen. I was so sad. I took it back to Best Buy and they said they couldn't help me. I couldn't stand it so I bought a new one. I called Kindle and they were so nice and sent me a new one. Now I had two. I convinced Dan that he needed one too. He is loving his as much as I do. I am leaving for Hawaii with my husband on friday and the thought of laying on the beach reading sounds so lovely to me. I am so thankful for a hard working Mom who helped me learn to love to read. Thanks MOM!

FOOTBALL

Welcome to Katie's Krazy Life. Oh I am sad that football season is over. I grew up playing lots of sports, but I love to watch football. We watch it as a family, we watch it with friends and use it as an excuse to have parties. We LOVE BYU football. It was so fun when they came to New Mexico this year for the New Mexico bowl. We made a whole day of it with our friends. It was so fun to cheer for BYU!

We had so much fun meeting the players after. They are so much bigger than they look on the field. It was perfect football weather too. Oh ya and we won by alot!!!

We also are huge BRONCOS fans. Even when they aren't very good we love to cheer on Denver. We were sad they didn't make the playoffs, so we began cheering for Green Bay! Our friends had a fun super bowl party. It was so much fun. We all cheered and ate and enjoyed the wonderful company. I am very interested in making cakes right now. So I designed a cake and made it for our party. It took me five hours, but it turned out great.

Now football season is over and I can't wait for it to come around again. Only seven more months......sigh.......Do you watch the Super bowl for the game or the commercials?

Hi I am Katie!

Hi, I am Katie and I am the second sister. I live in New Mexico and am the only one that lives outside of Utah. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart Dan. He is a wonderful husband and father. I love him so much!

I have three children, twins that are almost seven and a little crazy girl who is almost four. The twins are in first grade and are doing really well. Lizzie my three year old is my little buddy. She spends her day with me and we have so much fun.

We had to do invitro for all of our children. It was really hard and painful, but we are batting 3 for 2 and very blessed. I am done with invitro and my son didn't think it was fair that he was out numbered so we got a Yorkie puppy two years ago. His name is Optimus Prime and he is a total Momma's boy. He is my little baby.

I love sports. I played volleyball and basketball in high school. I still play a lot of volleyball. I love to watch football with my husband. I love to read. My husband bought me a kindle for christmas and I am loving it! I am learning how to decorate cakes right now. The next great baker has really inspired me.

I love my life and my family!!
