I recently read that a lot of high schoolers don't know cursive (and don't feel it is important to know) because they rarely have to write anything anymore, with technology and all.

I want to see what your signature looks like after reading this!

You need to post your signature... it couldn't be worst then mine, I'm always writing in all caps my writing is horrid. Every few years I vow to work on and then get to busy to care. Good luck with your book signing I would be terrified.

Rindi, I have one suggestion for your signature. Just carefully write it! So many people think you have to write your signature really fast and kind of crazy. I say NO! Just write it slowly and carefully so everyone can read it. It makes me crazy to watch people sign their name so bad that you can't even read it. Some people think that it makes it so no one can forge their name. HA! I think it makes it easier because no one can tell what it says anyway.

I am so proud of you for trying though. I wish you luck because my writing is getting worse every day. I think as you get older it gets harder to write neat. Good Luck, Love Mom

How creative, writing your whole post by hand. How fun. I can't believe you didn't spend hours and hours and hours practicing writing your new last name. I was practicing signing "tami jones" years before I knew I was going to marry nick! (...not that it made a difference to how I sign it.)

I NEED A PEN PAL!!!!! I'm sure I still have fancy folded notes from you somewhere... and I remember practicing our penmanship together. The funny thing is this (so totally cute) post with the visual of your handwriting is making me miss you so much. I would know your writing anywhere!! (and for what it's worth, I think it's great!) Also... just so you know, my signature (which I used to highly prize) has turned to complete trash. It's been shortened to a totally illegible E Russ. Your mom would be embarrassed!!

also (to all the Haws girls) my internet has been down for the last few weeks and I have been getting by on my phone so even though I've been reading, I haven't been able to comment much. Still love everything though!!

p.s. that is some serious pressure to have to sign your name in the book! What an honor though! Just do it. Don't change your signature. I love it!
