MIGRAINE!!!

Krazy day with Katie!

When I think back to this week all I can think is MIGRAINE!!!! My husband was out of town this week and of course that is the time I get a terrible migraine. I asked my kids to whisper but of course no one can. I lay on my bed trying to calm the pain and in the mean time the house is being torn apart and the laundry is piling up. Of course I am in charge of the Mia Maid activity that night at my house. I pull myself out of my bed and clean up. Get everything ready to make the flag for girls camp and GUESS WHAT? only one girl comes twenty minutes late. So yes I paint most of the 4x6 foot flag (I must say it turned out great). In the meantime since my husband is gone my kids of course are painting and making a horrible mess. They are all covered with paint almost from head to toe. I send them up to shower while I clean up all the paint. I go up to find they took a bath instead and my bath tub is now a shade of purple. Get everyone to bed and fall into bed myself. I think that is one of the most terrible things about life. Being so sick and having to take care of others. Then the next day I take all three kids to Walmart to get food for the father son camp out (yes it is this weekend). Lizzie falls because all the kids are being crazy and I run over her finger with the cart and slice it open. She is screaming and blood is running down her hand. Of course the wipes I keep in my purse are gone. We run to the bathroom and clean it up. By the time I am on my way home I feel like crying. My husband call (whom is wonderful just out of town) and needs me to get everything ready for the father son camp out. He will just be getting home right in time to leave. I feel upset because I don't even get to go camping. But I say I will (not in the nicest voice I am sure). I get home and remember I have to cook hash browns for forty men and boys for them to take. AHHHHHHH!!!!! Of course this is the week I promised two of my friends I would watch their kids. After babysitting 6 kids ages 4,4,3,2,1, and a five week old baby (which I love to hold) I am about done with this week. But no I still have Friday night with my two girls. Seems to be OK, but my 7 year old girl gets sick. NOOO.....But I survived and my husband is home, the house is clean and laundry done. Now to hope for a better week. That is the nice things about Monday. You can always try to do better. That is my hope for tomorrow. ****this is not my normal life but everyone is entitled to a bad week right? And as my Mom always says "It could have been worse!"

ugh... so sorry Katie! It is hard being a one mom show when dad is gone without feeling miserable on top of that! I remember saying once that my mom never gets sick... now I realize she DOES get sick, but she just keeps on working and no one knows. Ahhh, the life of a mama!!

Katie, Maybe we could send your entry to the President of the United States. He thinks water boarding is torcher. I think if we gave the Terrorist your week they would have been giving up anything we wanted to know. That was real torcher. I hope you feel better this week. Love, Mom
